Hello again from the nation's capital !
What a beautiful weekend we enjoyed after a crazy wet windy week. We certainly can't complain as it was above 20C today and Saturday. We got lots of yard work and house work completed as well as washed both cars in the driveway.
We awoke to sunny skies both mornings after a good nights sleep. We were in bed early both Friday and Saturday night. The fresh air from spending time outdoors makes one very tired come dark. Randy had Friday off so he took advantage of the fair weather to finish the yard work. There are still lots of trees that need attention but for the most part the perrenial beds and grass have been cleaned. We had severe wind and rain Thursday. It made a big mess in our yard. I guess we are lucky we never lost a tree as many in the city feel in the wind.
Carter had lacrosse practise on Tuesday and Thursday, spent time with his buddies on the other days and played 4 on 4 hockey this afternoon. He is feeling much better although he had a bit of a headache yesterday afternoon.
Paula is still struggling with her cold. She stayed home a couple days this week. She still managed to get some shopping in Saturday and the groceries bought today. He knitting keeps her pretty busy.
That is about it from here. We are watching alot of NHL playoffs and especially enjoyed watching the Bruins beat the Habs. We are now cheering for the Capitals so best get back to the boob tube.
